Handrail Systems - Windham and Vintage

The Windham and Vintage Rails are designed to be used with square top or taper top balusters. When using taper top balusters with Windham, simply glue fillet (supplied with rail) into plowed underside of rail, then drill for balusters. For square top balusters, cut fillet to fit between the balusters.

Volutes and turnouts for use with Arcways Single Bullnose Starting Step (A-8330), or Arcways Double Bullnose Starting Step (A-8350), or any starting step with a 12 1/2" minimum diameter bullnose. Plowed with sculptured fillet included with each Windham fitting only.

The picture above shows Windham Volute (A-7435) with Gooseneck (A-7465). Featured are the Georgian Taper Top Plain Balusters (A-5415P) in Birch, and the Georgian Pin Top Plain Newel (A-4415P).

Goosenecks

Note about Goosenecks: In order for the contractor to achieve maximum jobsite efficiency, Arcways supplies goosenecks with bottom upeasings loose to fit one or two-riser conditions. Arcways strongly recommends the use of a newel under all gooseneck fittings for added stability.
